Six killed in blast

RAIPUR: Six persons, including four police officials, were killed in a landmine blast near Bairamgadh village, 500 km from here on Thursday.

A dozen civilians injured in the blast are being treated in a hospital at Bijapur town. An armed contingent on a routine patrol noticed the landmine and dug it out. It went off when an officer was trying to defuse it.
