Thiruvananthapuram: Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy has said that the talks between the Kerala Government and Smart City representatives lack transparency. Replying to questions at a press conference here on Thursday, he said the Chief Secretary and other officials were ignorant about the various developments relating to the project that were processed by the Chief Minister's office. When he handled the talks with Smart City representatives during his tenure as Chief Minister, all important government Secretaries were involved in the discussions at every stage. Besides, the details used to be posted on the Chief Minister's website for public information, Mr. Chandy said.
