Puducherry: The Puducherry unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) called upon the administration to launch massive action to combat increasing mosquito menace here. In a release here on Thursday, president of the party here M. Visweswaran said that the health machinery should be geared and the Government should associate itself with the Vector Control Research Centre to evolve appropriate and sustained measures to eradicate mosquito breeding.
