Holistic revision of master plan sought

Kakinada: The Rate Payers' Association, at its meeting chaired by P.S.R.K. Thimmaji Rao on Thursday, urged municipal authorities to adopt a holistic approach in revising the master plan and take steps to merge peripheral villages with Kakinada. It pointed out that the stakeholders' workshop organised by the Municipal Corporation on Wednesday forgot the merger of peripheral villages, which was long overdue.

It said the master plan was a vision document and that it should be pragmatic.
