Somnath to lead team to Riyadh

NEW DELHI : Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee is leading a Parliamentary delegation to Saudi Arabia from February 9 to 13.

Besides holding discussions with the King, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Presiding Officer of the Saudi Parliament, the delegation will meet the Governor of Riyadh and the Foreign Minister. The delegation includes Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha K. Rehman Khan, C. Ramachandraiah, E.Ponnuswamy, Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Vanlalzawma and Furkan Ansari, all MPs, and P.D.T. Achary, Lok Sabha Secretary-General.
