HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy expressed grief at the demise of Chairman of Kasturi and Sons S. Rangarajan in Chennai on Thursday. In a message, the Chief Minister recalled the memorable services rendered by Mr. Rangarajan to The Hindu group as its publisher from 1974 to 2004. Mr. Rangarajan was also a keen sports enthusiast and was actively associated with the Hyderabad Race Club. Dr. Reddy conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the members of the bereaved family. Telugu Desam president and Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu also expressed grief at the demise of Mr. Rangarajan. In a message, Mr. Naidu described him as administrator par excellence. Hailing from a family known for its contribution to the freedom struggle, he was well known and a highly respected personality in the field of sports, he said. "The demise of Mr. Rangarajan has created a void which cannot be filled easily," he said while conveying his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family.
