ALAPPUZHA: Minister for Cooperation G. Sudhakaran will inaugurate a three-day national conference on biotechnology organised at Alappuzha S.D. College on the occasion of the diamond jubilee of the college on February 9 at 9.45 a.m. Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai will deliver the keynote address. Technical sessions on agriculture biotechnology and industrial biotechnology will be held on the inaugural day in the morning and afternoon. A session on medical biotechnology will be held at 9.30 a.m. on February 10.
Technical sessions
Technical sessions on environmental and marine biotechnology and molecular biotechnology will be held on February 11. The valedictory will be held at 2.30 p.m. K.S. Manoj, MP, will inaugurate the function. K.C. Venugopal, MLA, will preside.
