LIC launches two new plans

Belgaum: The Life Insurance Corporation of India launched two unique plans for children on Thursday.

In a release here, P.S. Kamble, Marketing Manager, LIC, Divisional Office, Belgaum, said both the new plans were launched considering "child career" and "child future" under the rapidly changing educational system in the country. These plans provide solution to all the requirements for children's education and marriage, while taking care of the parents' life risk cover as well. Parents of children aged between 0 and 12 can avail themselves of the benefit of these plans for a term of 11 years to 27 years for a minimum sum of Rs. 1 lakh and a maximum of Rs. 1 crore in various modes of premium payment. Risk of parents aged between 18 and 55 can be covered by waiving future premiums in case of untimely death. The polices along with 105 per cent and 115 per cent sum assured earn regular bonus and final additional bonus.
