HUBLI: A large number of people from across the country are expected to participate in the annual Shivaratri Jatra Mahotsava at the Siddharoodh Math in Hubli from February 11 to February 19. Siddharoodh Swamy Math in Hubli is known for its religious tolerance and draws people from various communities, including Muslims, for the jatra rituals. B.D. Hegde, chairman of Sri Siddharoodh Swamy Math Trust Committee, told presspersons here on Thursday that this time a music festival by artistes from various States would kick start the "jatra mahotsav" on February 11. "Shivayogi Jagarane" would be held on February 16, in which people from across the State and also from Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are expected to participate, he said.
