Avesthagen raises funds for expansion

CHENNAI: Avesthagen Gengraine Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a life-sciences company, has announced the successful closure of its Series `C' fundraise, totalling Rs. 667 crore. The funds will be used for the company's infrastructure expansion plans, including setting up of manufacturing units, laboratories, acquisition of technology companies and strengthening its international presence, says a release.
