VIA Technologies sets up SAARC hub

BANGALORE: VIA Technologies, the U.S.-based supplier of core logic chipsets, is strengthening its presence in the region by setting up a SAARC regional hub in Bangalore. The company plans to improve after-sales service to local customers and is negotiating for distribution channels in the region and West Asia. Following the opening of the Bangalore office, the company plans to build up its presence in six metros across India over the next six months.
