Speedy disposal of cases stressed

CHANDIGARH: The Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Vijender Kumar Jain, on Friday said that all pending cases in various courts should be disposed of within six months by evolving an effective strategy.

Speaking at a workshop on "Speedy disposal of criminal cases -- Operational strategies to curtail procedural delays at all levels'', Mr. Justice Jain called for setting realistic goals and plans with a specific time-frame.
