Star CC posts win

Mysore: Star CC, Chamarajanagar registered a 89-run win over Nanjangud CC in its league encounter in the Sri Gopalaswami Memorial tourney tie played at the Maharaja's College grounds here on Thursday. It was helped by good contributions from Srikanta (55) and Ubed (52).

The scores: Star CC (C'nagar) 284 for eight in 50 overs (Srikanta 55, Ubed 52, Satish 41) bt Nanjangud CC 195 in 41.4 overs (Mithun 46, Vinyas 40).

On Wednesday: Nanjangud CC 82 in 21.4 overs (Venkatesh five for seven) lost to AT & S (N'gud) 83 for one in 9.2 overs.
