Results released

CHENNAI:
The results of the entrance examination for Tamil Nadu Open University's B.Ed. Tamil medium programme were released on Friday.
A total of 16,743 applicants had written the examination held on January 28 in 33 centres across the State. The results have been posted online at www.tnou.ac.in, www.chennaionline.com and www.webulagam.com, a press release here said. Mark-sheets will be sent to all students through post.
The cut-off marks for provisionally selected candidates are 74.75 for general category, 62.75 for physically handicapped, 68.75 for ex-Servicemen, 71.25 for BC, 69 for MBC and denotified communities, 65.25 for Scheduled Castes and 61.50 for Scheduled Tribes. Counselling will be held on February 21 and 22 at Stella Matutina College of Education, Kamarajar Salai (Nirmala Girls Higher Secondary School campus), Ashok Nagar, Chennai.
Candidates who wish to apply for revaluation should submit applications to The Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Open University, DOTE campus, Guindy, Chennai 600 025, on or before February 15.
