Remove private hoarding in Government lands

HYDERABAD: District Collector R.V. Chandravadan has instructed Mandal Revenue Officers to launch a drive to remove private hoardings set up in Government lands in the district.

Addressing them at Collectorate on Friday, he said a report should be submitted after inspecting the Government lands and removing the private hoardings.

Emphasising that it was the responsibility of the revenue officers to protect Government lands, he said besides constructing compound walls/fencings, if necessary, private security guards, should also be appointed. As many as 32 sites selected for construction of school buildings should also be safeguarded from encroachments, he said.

Joint Collector Mukteswara Rao and others participated in the meeting.
