Rajnath ridicules Sonia letter to PM

DEHRA DUN: Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh has predicted a clear majority for his party in Uttarakhand and the BJP-Akali combine in Punjab.

Addressing newspersons here, Mr. Singh said the public response during his election meetings in the hills indicated that voters were fed up with the Congress regime and wanted a changeHe asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take Parliament and the people into confidence before finalising a deal with Pakistan and accused Congress president Sonia Gandhi of trying to gain public sympathy by writing letters of public concern to the Prime Minister. "We all know that everything that happens in the Manmohan Singh Government is first vetted by Ms. Gandhi," he said.
