NUALs wins moot court contest

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: National University of Advanced Legal Studies has won the 18th all India moot court competition organised by the Kerala Law Academy Moot Court Society. Participants from 34 colleges took part in the competition. Justice K. Padmanabhan Nair inaugurated the valedictory function. The function was presided over by Justice K.P. Balachandran.

Technopark employee injured in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 30-year-old employee of Technopark, who was grievously injured in an accident near the toll gate on the Chakka bypass late on Saturday night, was reportedly rushed to the hospital by Inspector General of Police South Zone Arun Kumar Sinha who was passing by. The injured youth was lying on the road without anyone coming to his rescue. The police was yet to confirm the identity of the victim.

New passport officer takes charge
