Motor Vehicle Inspector office

TAMBARAM: Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T.R. Baalu will inaugurate an office of the Motor Vehicle Inspector at Tambaram on Monday.

The new office would benefit vehicle owners in and around Tambaram, who till now had to go till the Regional Transport Office at Alandur.

The new office would carry out routine works other than issuing of permits for private and government vehicles, officials said. The new office would have two MV Inspectors apart from six other staff. State Transport Minister K.N. Nehru and Labour Welfare Minister T.M. Anbarasan will take part.
