BMTC's hospital service

BANGALORE: To facilitate easy and unhindered access to hospitals on Monday, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will operate six hospital service buses free for the public.

These services will be operated from Kempegowda Bus Station to important government and private hospitals in the city and its surroundings between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Buses plying on these routes will sport special banners for easy identification by the public. BMTC is operating this service to benefit the general public as a bandh has been called on Monday. "We appeal to all to cooperate with us for the safe and successful operation of these buses," BMTC Chief Traffic Manager Dastagir Sharieff has said in a press release.
