GUWAHATI: By posting victories on Monday, defending champion Punjab and Maharashtra kept alive their hopes of qualifying for the men's football semifinals of the 33rd National Games at the North East Frontier Railway Stadium. Maharashtra defeated Kerala 2-0 with a goal each from Jintu Jose and Prabhash Janardhan. In the other match, Punjab edged out Haryana by a solitary goal from Lalhlimthara Mahlima.
