Congress seeks additional security

BERHAMPUR: Congress leaders have demanded extra security arrangements in Aska area during the panchayat poll following alleged attacks on supporters.

Union Minister and MP Chandrasekhar Sahu also drew the attention of Ganjam SP R. K. Sharma to the matter. Congressmen allege that on Feb 10 one of their supporters was attacked and injured in Siddhanai panchayat. Son of a Congress supporter from Badagada village was injured by rivals on at Jagdalpur village February 11.

Congress leaders have reiterated their demand for deployment of a magistrate and DSP in Aska block. duirng poll.
