Sasikiran heads Indian challenge

NEW DELHI: K. Sasikiran will lead India's biggest-ever contingent in the $200,000 Aeroflot Open chess tournament to be played in Moscow from February 14 to 22.

The Indian participants:

Group A1: K. Sasikiran, P. Hari Krishna, Surya Shekhar Ganguly and Parimarjan Negi.

Group A2: Abhijit Kunte, Deepan Chakkravarthy, D. Harika, G. N. Gopal, G. Rohit, Aswin Jayaram, Lanka Ravi, Deep Sengupta, S. Vijayalakshmi, S. Arun Prasad and Tania Sachdev.

Group B: B. Adhiban, Abhishek Das, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Aarthie Ramaswamy, R. Arun Karthik, Padmini Rout, Suvrajit Saha and S. Meenakshi.
