LUCKNOW: The Congress on Monday alleged that officers in Uttar Pradesh are performing their duties under pressure from the Samajwadi Party (SP) Government due to which issue of photo identity cards has been delayed. Alleging the government of misusing power for gaining political mileage in the coming Assembly elections, Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap said, ``The presence of senior officers, including State chief secretary at a function in Samajwadi Party office indicates that bureaucracy is under tremendous pressure.''
