CHANDIGARH: The BSP on Monday alleged that voter cards are on sale in Punjab, with Congress and SAD alluring people by offering liquor and drugs. ``In Amritsar alone, several voter cards were purchased from poor people by paying Rs.1,000-2,000 by Congress and SAD activists,'' BSP general secretary and state in-charge Narinder Kashyap told reporters here.
Liquor
He, however, failed to substantiate his claim adding ``major political parties are alluring voters by offering liquor and drugs.'' The EC had already dismissed allegations that voter cards were sold in the State.
