Directive to Kannur Medical College

KOCHI:
The Admission Supervisory Committee, headed by the former judge P.A. Mohammed, on Monday directed the Kannur Medical College management to refund the additional money (other than tuition fee and caution deposit) collected from various students.
The committee issued notice to the college management to refund the money within 10 days. The college authorities should file an action taken report before the committee on February 26.
The action was taken on complaints lodged by parents of students that the management had not returned the money even after getting directions from the committee.
The next sitting of the committee will be held at the Government Guesthouse at Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram on February 19.
