Yediyurappa meets BJP leaders

BANGALORE:
Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, who is in New Delhi to draw attention to the Cauvery tribunal award among top leaders, told The Hindu that he along with State Industries Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu on Monday called on senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders such as the former Prime Minister A.B. Vajpayee, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha L.K. Advani, party president Rajnath Singh and general secretary Arun Jaitley. Minister for Water Resources K.S. Eshwarappa has called a meeting of all Karnataka MPs on Wednesday. The MPs would be given a copy of the final award of the tribunal their support would be enlisted to fight for the State within and outside Parliament.
