Shashidhar Reddy still optimistic

HYDERABAD: Sanathnagar legislator Marri Shashidhar Reddy said that in the long run Godavari might be good, but no mention of Krishna third phase in the Governor's address must have been an oversight, which he was sure will be corrected.

Krishna third phase is a must for the city. With Central Water Commission allocation of 5.5 tmc for the phase, water can be tapped immediately instead of waiting for Godavari allocation. Further, with good infrastructure, including land, available all we need to do is replicate the last two phases and lay pipelines., he said.

Even Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy has promised to fund the entire third phase , he said.
