VISAKHAPATNAM : ICICI Prudential will focus on strengthening business in the rural sector by selling life insurance and other products. ICICI Prudential Life Insurance vice-president Anup Rau told reporters on Tuesday that they had expanded their network by adding around 300 branches during past nine months registering a growth of 258 per cent in locations. Mr. Rau said their company had collected new business premium of Rs.2,722 crores and wrote over 1.1 million policies. He said the company had a network of over 470 branches with 18 bankers as partners. He said ICICI Prudential had launched various products to meet long term financial goals of people after finding in their research that the most important factor bothering people was the social security of their family.
