Coimbatore: The District Collector, Neeraj Mittal, on Monday released a newsletter by the Horticulture Department. The District Revenue Officer, V. Subramanian received the first copy. The newsletter contains information on horticulture cultivation, latest trends and technology available in horticulture and schemes of the State Government for promoting horticulture. The Assistant Director of Horticulture, V. Gangadharan said that from January 2007, the department had started bringing out the newsletter every month for the benefit of farmers.
