KHAMMAM: Six political parties, including the TDP, CPI(M) and CPI (ML New Democracy), will organise a car rally from Khammam to Hyderabad as part of their agitation programme to press for allocation for Rs 2500 crores in the budget for Dummugudem and Rudramkota lift schemes on Godavari. Addressing a news conference here, Potla Nageswar Rao, TDP district vice-president, P. Sudarshan, CPI(M) district secretary and Potu Ranga Rao, CPI (ML New Democracy) district secretary, said that the rally would be organised with over 2,000 cars, jeeps and vans with representation from all the revenue divisions in the district. The rally would start from the degree college grounds and reach Hyderabad the same day.
