Sangareddy: Telangana Rastra Samithi leader and former union minister A. Narendra announced that his party might consider alliance with Congress on conditional basis if it made clear its stand on Telangana. He hinted that Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had already sent feelers to the TRS headquarters through PCC president K. Keshava Rao for a possible alliance. Addressing a press conference here Narendra further said that TRS would be ready to join hands even with Telugu Desam Party, if it could set up a separate outfit for the region. He said that the Santhi Yatra by balladeer Gaddar has succeeded in creating a grass root level awareness among the people of Telangana and the movement. Responding to the High Court's strictures on highway blockades, Mr. Narendra said that such agitations were needed to highlight plight of the people in a democratic set-up and the party would knocking the doors of the apex court regarding that.
