Heavy rain in northern parts

BHUBANESWAR: The northern parts, including the State capital, on Tuesday witnessed heavy rain under the influence of upper air trap line extending from Western UP to Telengana. Heavy rain laced with hailstorm was likely to occur at isolated places in the next 48 hours, Met office said. Highest 97.2 mm rainfall was recorded at Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district.
