CHANDIGARH: France has offered assistance to Haryana in water management, especially in new cities coming up in the State, and also in hotel management. The offer was made to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda by a French Government representative who called on him here on Tuesday to present the reports of the projects on upgrading of water supply and sewerage systems in Rohtak and Kaithal. These studies were conducted by a French company, Veolia Water India Pvt. Limited, at the initiative of Haryana Public Works (Water Supply and Sanitation) Department Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala. The representative, Dyna, said her Government was willing to cooperate with India in many areas of development.
