VIZIANAGARAM: The mortal remains of Makena Eswara Narasimha Patrudu, Judge in Madras High Court, was consigned to flames with State honours at Chintalapalem, his native village near Kothavalasa, on Tuesday afternoon. His son Jayant lit the funeral pyre. Earlier, the body was brought to Chintalapalem in a flower decked carriage from his house in Mangalapalem where it was kept in a state of rest for visitors. District Judge G. Krishna Mohan Reddy, Revenue Divisional Officer M.V. Govinda Rajulu and a number of Bar Association members from Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam paid homage.
