Another 20 from Vignan to Satyam!

More innovative programs being planned for further the employability of the students

GUNTUR : Satyam Computers Services has selected 20 students of Vignan's Engineering College, Vadlamudi in 0a recent campus interview, which has taken the total number of students placed in that organisation from Vignan during this year to 40.

Students from all branches were selected. The break-up of branches includes 3 students from EEE, 3 from Mechanical, 5 from ECE, 2 from CSE, 3 from IT and 4 from Chemical. The Vignan Group Chairman L. Rathaiah, Executive Director Paturi Koteswara Rao, and principal Y.V.S.S.S.V. Prasada Rao while congratulating the students said that more innovative programs were being planned for further employability of the students.

TJPS students excel

The Management meet is a platform for MBA students to bring out their managerial capabilities and prove their mettle, said TJPS College principal C. Anil Kumar. The MBA students of the TJPS College in Guntur participated in various competitions and won three prizes in the State-level Management Meet `Samanvay' at Maris Stella College in Vijayawada on February 9 and also bagged a prize in `Nimra Meet' organised by the Nimra College on Monday, he added.

In `Samanvay', Naga Kiran kumar exhibited extraordinary skills to outshine his competitors and achieve the crown of `Young Manager'. Another student K. Aparna excelled in `Case Analysis' and emerged the winner of the event. In the cultural event, Rajesh won second prize in dance. In `Nimra Meet', Naga Kiran Kumar and Joseph won second place in `Market Makers' event.

The college management appreciated the students for bagging 20 prizes in various events and meets organised this academic year.
