Bhakthavatsalam remembered

CHENNAI : Former Chief Minister M.Bhakthavatsalam was remembered on his memorial day, which was observed on Sunday.

S. Mohan, former Supreme Court judge, who presided over the meeting, recalled the late leader's contributions.

Former Supreme Court judge S. Natarajan distributed scholarships worth Rs.1000 each to 46 deserving college students.

Social worker and daughter of Bhakthavatsalam, Sarojini Varadappan, participated.
