BJP seeks exemption for opposition

The Bharatiya Janata Party city unit welcomed a ban on dharnas, bandhs and rasta rokos, but at the same time wanted exemption to political parties. BJP city committee member D. Chandrasekhara Rao said some platform should be given to the Opposition parties to express their protest.

Sri Kakatiya gesture

Sri Kakatiya School of Excellence has donated Rs. 60,116 to HelpAge India. K.S. Vinod Kumar, senior executive of HelpAge, thanked the students and parents for the gesture. He said that HelpAge was rendering services to the poor, old and sick people with commitment and consistency.

Workshop

SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala organised a two-day workshop on techniques in genetic engineering. Helini Biochemicals, Chennai, conducted the workshop. As part of this, demonstrations were given on techniques of genetic engineering.
