MRI facility for Victoria Hospital in two months

Bangalore: Minister for Medical Education V.S. Acharya said here on Tuesday that Victoria Hospital would get a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine in two months.

Inaugurating various facilities and medical equipment at the Victoria Hospital here, Dr. Acharya said the cost of the MRI scan machine was Rs. 6 crore.

A radio-diagnostic centre with a multi slice CT-Scan machine worth Rs. 2.5 crore was unveiled on Tuesday.

The Minister also inaugurated a conference hall, bio-medical waste unit and a C-Arm (diagnostic equipment) at the hospital.
