VIJAYAWADA: A 50-year-old man died when he was hit by a speeding auto-rickshaw on G.S. Raju Road in Satyanarayanapuram on Wednesday. The Satyanarayanapuram police said the accident occurred when Kondamudi Kumar, a resident of Sivaji Café centre was crossing the road around 5 p.m. The auto-rickshaw from Gandhi Nagar side hit Kumar and moved towards Singh Nagar side. Kumar died on his way to hospital, the police said. A case has been registered and police were on the look out for auto-rickshaw driver.
