Warning to intruders

After threat from across the borders, and aircraft violating the country's air space, the latest to hit the headlines was the maritime threat to the county's coastal States.

"Whatever the threat, it must be remembered that it would be impossible for intruders to get back to their country after causing trouble here," Inspector General of Coast Guard and the Commander of the force's Western Region A Rajasekhar said.

A native of Kerala, he said the country's defence forces were prepared to thwart attacks from the seas.
