HDFC Bank signs MoU with Italian bank

CHENNAI : HDFC Bank and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena of Italy, the world's oldest bank, on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to offer banking services to each other's corporate customers engaged in business activities in the respective countries. The two banks will assist their respective customers, particularly with regard to commercial and financial transactions between Italy and India. The services covered would include remittances and bank guarantees, a release says.
