Sandeep shines

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore `B' crushed Reserve Bank of India by nine wickets in a Canara Bank-TDCA `A' division cricket league tie here on Thursday.

The highlight of SBT's win was a fine all-round performance by Sandeep R. Nair (65 not out and three for 24).

The scores: Reserve Bank of India 114 in 38.5 overs (Suresh five for 16) lost to State Bank of Travancore `B' 116 for one in 16.1 overs (Sandeep R. Nair 65 n.o.)
