Claims, counter claims

What led to the arrest of the main suspect in the killing of TV newsreader Lakshmi Sujatha?

The claims and counter claims have led to a virtual war between two TV channels. While one channel claimed that it had tracked the suspect and tipped off the police, the other repeatedly telecast the other version of how the police tracked the suspect by keeping a tab on the telephones of his friends.

Whatever be the claims and counter claims, the police did manage to zero in on the suspects and brought curtains down on the murder plot which is no less than a Bollywood script.
