Power shutdown tomorrow

Bangalore: There will be interruption in power supply in areas fed by N3 sub-division on Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The affected areas include KHB Colony, Basaveshwaranagar II Stage, Thimmaiah Road, Mahaganapathinagara, Shivanagar, Manjunathanagar, 4th Main Road of Industrial Town and surrounding areas. On Sunday, areas fed by F3 NRS feeder will face interruptions in power supply between 10.30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The areas to be afected are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Main Road of Industrial Town, Agrahara Dasarahalli and surrounding areas.

Power supply hit

Power supply was affected in parts of the central business district on Thursday because of a fault with a high tension line.

According to sources in the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom), a high-tension power line between Rajajinagar and Majestic tripped in the afternoon. Following this, power supply was affected in several areas including Majestic, Kempe Gowda Road, Chickpet and areas surrounding Anandrao Circle.The problem was rectified by late evening.
