Staff Reporter

Plan to organise `Chalo Hyderabad' rally on March 6

SEEKING JUSTICE: Village servants staging a dharna in support of their demands at Anantapur on Saturday.

ANANTAPUR: Village servants under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh Grama Sevakula Sangham, affiliated to the CPI (M), staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Saturday in support of their long pending demands.

Speaking on the occasion, district president of the sangham T. Ramulu, general secretary S. Peddanna and others said their repeated requests to the Government, representations to legislators and protests at different levels have fallen on deaf ears.

Even the Chief Minister, Revenue Minister and Assembly Speaker have failed to resolve their problems, they alleged.

The sangham is planning a `Chalo Hyderabad' programme on March 6.
