KOCHI: Minister for Education M.A. Baby has urged the judiciary to consider the core values enshrined in the Constitution while delivering judgments. Delivering the inaugural address at a workshop on `Democratisation of education and impact of judicial pronouncements,' organised by the All-India Lawyers' Union here on Saturday, Mr. Baby said the Constitution ensured social justice and equality for all in society. The Minister said the judiciary should review whether the judgments were in tune with these constitutional provisions. He said an academic discussion should be initiated on whether privatisation and globalisation had impacted some of the recent verdicts.
