Forgettable day for Chopra

Palisades Pacific: Daniel Chopra slipped down the leaderboard dramatically on the second day with a four-over 75 and is certain to miss the cut in the Nissan Open golf tournament on Friday.

Chopra, who stumbled to a 75, is in the joint 80th position.

Korea's Choi Kyung-ju climbed up the ladder when he fired a four-under par 67 to be tied for 19th place.

Ireland's Padraig Harrington tied for the clubhouse lead after a 68 alongside American Phil Mickelson, who improved with a 65 for a total of 131. — PTI
