KOLKATA : Defending champion Mahindra United was held to a goalless draw by Mohammedan Sporting in the National Football League at the Vidyasagar Stadium at Barasat near here on Saturday. The Mumbai giant, which lost its fourth round match by a solitary goal at home against Sporting Clube de Goa, continued to struggle as the tournament got off to a fresh start after almost a month-long break. Sporting's recent induction of three African recruits striker Preston, midfielder Ndem Harvey and defender Erick Mputu together proved a major hurdle in the visitor's aspiration. Mahindra United now has eight points after five matches. On the other hand, Mohammedan Sporting has five points from as many matches. Principal Correspondent
