Book lovers walk to spread awareness

New Delhi: Heritage and book lovers joined in a walk through the alleys of Delhi's old quarter on Saturday to promote the habit of reading and preserving age-old traditions. Organised by Katha and the Delhi chapter of Intach, the walk was based on Sahitya Akademi Award-winner Krishna Sobti's book ``The Heart Has Its Reasons''. The walk began from the Digambar Jain temple opposite Red Fort at 8-30 a.m. and, after passing through the Begum Samru Haveli, Ghantewala, Ballimaran and Ghalib's haveli, ended at Fatehpuri .
