New Delhi: A month after reserving its judgment on an appeal filed by former Youth Congress leader Sushil Sharma in the sensational Naina Sahani murder case, the Delhi High Court is set to pronounce its judgement on Monday. Sharma was given death penalty by a city court for killing his wife in July 1995. A Bench of Justice R.S. Sodhi and Justice P.K. Bhasin will pronounce the verdict at 2 p.m on Monday on the appeal filed by Sharma challenging the trial court judgement in 2003. On January 17, 2007, the Bench had reserved its order after the counsels for prosecution and Sharma summed up their arguments. A Delhi court had on November 7, 2003 sentenced Sharma to death for killing his wife Naina at their house in Gole Market area here and later roasting her body in an earthen oven (Tandoor). - PTI
